The history of our community is not very well documented. In past some of our learned elders like Shri Vajeshanker Devram Bole and recently Shri Vrajlal Jivram Bole made some efforts and have written about our heritage and history.
Recently Harshada Worah and Sejal Worah translated into English, the Gujrati version of the ‘Brief history of the Nandwana Community’ written by Vrajlal Jivram Bole, and published it in the form of a small booklet. This booklet has been circulated to all our community members in India and abroad. This is an excellent community service and will give us and our children, an opportunity to learn about our past.
Most of our community members are settled in India. Those who have settled in other countries of the world have links with India. Parents, brother, sisters or some relative. Nandwanas is a small community ( of about 3000 members ! ! ) and is spread in all parts of India, and around the world.
It is possible that some of our elders may have more information about our past, ancient as well as more recent. The community will very much appreciate, if they will share this valuable information with all the members.
